On Saturday, September 6, 2003, at 1:30 p.m. Jon Stratmoen passed away in his home surrounded by his family. He asked that donations be made to scout troop 158 for a fund for scouts that needed assistance for scout activities.

A funeral mass will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, September 10 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 750 Peachtree St., Herndon, VA. Burial will follow at Chestnut Cemetery in Herndon.
