Asstant Special Agent-in-Charge Paul Rainey, Headquarters, will retire on April 30, 2010 after 34 years of federal service. Paul began his federal government career in 1977 as an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Agent in Houston, Texas and also was assigned to the Philadelphia IRS office. In 1983, he transferred to OIG, USDA. While at OIG he served in several positions in Washington and New York City including the Secretarial Protective Operations and as a Supervisory Special Agent. He subsequently transferred to the Food and Nutrition Service in New Jersey as a Supervisory Investigator. Paul returned to OIG in August 2005 as a desk officer with the Investigations Liaison and Special Operations Division.
