Jim Owens, Resident Agent, Cleveland, Ohio, has announced he is retiring September 30, 2006. Jim came to OIG from INS in 1991 and served in OIG's Columbus suboffice before moving to the Cleveland residency in 1994 when Tom Egan retired. Jim is a former Kent police officer and is going to teach in the Criminal Justice Departments at Kent State and the University of Akron this fall.
