Barbara Franklin, Investigative Program Specialist, is retiring October 2, 2010 after 36 years with OIG, all in the Southwest Region. Barbara began her career in the regional office file room and worked in the typing pool before becoming ARIG secretary where she maintained her greatest "challange" was being the shared secretary between Tom Wall and Jeff Thomas for several years. Barbara was promoted to the Law Enforcement Support Specialist position when it was originally created in 1998 and has been there ever since through all its reincarnations.
